Braxton was so proud and excited that he found this hat and glove from a box in his playroom, "all by himself". (his new favorite phrase) ...and he put it on his right hand, so he could throw left-handed...Daddy would be so proud!
I love this! He's looking forward to playing in the backyard.

update
so, last week was a rough one. all the babies got sick...evie had 103 fever, followed by ayla with 102, and then braxton woke up in the middle of the night and said his ear hurt and it needed medicine. i knew then that we all needed to visit the pediatrician!
braxton had fluid in his ear and a sinus infection three weeks ago, but after seeing dr. abel (my first successful trip to the doctor with all three by myself), we were informed that all three of them had right ear infections. this is our first encounter with ear infections - strange that they all happened at once. but i am thanking the Lord for it...He knows i couldn't go without sleep that long (if they happened one after the other). so we had a few sleepless nights and now we are back to our regular sleep pattern! yea!
braxton is still not completely potty trained. it's an ongoing process. :(
ayla and evie are both doing great. they can sit up for about 5-10 seconds unassisted...of course rolling everywhere and really trying to crawl (which looks like they are practicing swimming techniques).
all in all, things are well at the chaplin house.

Easter
As most of you know this is my FAVORITE holiday...click here to read why. (If you don't already know.)
On Saturday we celebrated Jesus' ressurection in Rockwall. Here are a few pics before we went to church. If you weren't able to attend a service, you can enjoy ours at Lakepointe! (I am not sure why, but the sound quality is not very good after the initial song, but if you have good speakers it should be fine.)

My mom gave all of her grandchildren personalized Bibles! Aren't they awesome?!?
...and sunglasses :)
Braxton is beginning to enjoy hunting eggs.
On Sunday we continued our celebration in Garland. At first Braxton only wanted to 'mow'.
He finally joined the others in the hunt with his new Toy Story pail!!!
