santa at lakeshore tiny town

Evie walks

lots of love

braxton has been increasingly gentle, loving and sweet to his sisters lately.  just yesterday he actually defended ayla from one of his classmates.  these photos are priceless.

pictures

down on the farm

look in the far back - braxton's first ride on the go cart....
well, without me! i condone forced fun! i made him ride with me - he was hesitant and tried to escape, but he loved it when i finally stopped.
then he rode with mawmaw and lastly paw!

evie and ayla learned about cats...and how not to poke them in the eyes.  SO glad these cats are de-clawed (sorry PETA)

swinging with mawmaw

braxton thoroughly enjoyed the remote control monster truck
after all the FUN was had, we took naps. by we i mean the girls....and then it was time to dress them up for Christmas card photos! Yep - every childs favorite activity.
next post will include numerous photos: the good, the bad and the ugly (ok, mostly good, maybe a few bad...i already deleted the ugly.) check back to see an overwhelming amount of photos!

proud ayla

ayla's new favorite past time. she loves to get my purse and wallet (mini purse) and pretend to go shopping. she'll wave and say bye and head to the door!
she is so adorable...our girly girl

recently she has started pretend talking on the phone - i'll post when a get a good pic or video.

sharing

honestly these pictures looked posed, but i guarantee they were not! i love being able to catch them sharing. i'm sure in a few short months there will be many a battle over toys!  so, i'm living in the moment - sweet sharing sissies. <3

Different Dancers

Evie likes to sway to the music...Ayla likes to get low! ha. Which one takes after Mommy?!? I'll never tell :)

my girls

ayla walking (vs. the wind)
evie waves from the playset
silly girls - they are just playing, nothing spectacular. but i love documenting their early interactions :) they DO have their own language.

straight

i have been wondering what my girls would look like with straight hair.  i tried to straighten ayla's a few months back, but it stood up on end.  here are the results from my recent hair straightening attempt.  they look a little strange this way, i think.  i miss those curls :)

rustic recreation

early christmas

Grandma and Grandpa Chaplin bought these outfits for the girls!
Yes, it was mid November when these pictures were taken (a tad early), but HOW CUTE?!?
OH, and I forgot to say that these were the girls first pigtails, courtesy of my sister, Tara.
Sweet AylaGirl
Precious Evie Momma
Does this look like "in your face" to you?!?
This couldn't be ANY sweeter!
