December

December brought a little normalcy back to our lives. We moved into our new home and were able to get on (somewhat of) a routine with all three kids. Some days are smooth sailing and others are a ship wreck!!! But it's wonderful.

I will forever pray for single mothers, even mothers that feel single for the day. It's hard work and let me tell you, it's only by the grace of God that I (and the kids) survive a day without David. He is an excellent support and help as a husband and father.

Oh yeah, back to December. New house, moving, packing, unpacking, organizing, traveling to and from one house to the other, nursing, changing diapers, playing with Braxton, repeat until mid-December. We are finally in! Now it's time for Christmas!?! Thanks to David the shopping was completed on time. Now it's almost 2010...where does the time go? It's more than true that the days are long but the years fly by! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I will try to be a better blogger next year :)

November was a blur...did it come and go so quickly or did it happen at all? Proof is in the photos - it happened. Here is the month in photo review :) I guess we were a tad preoccupied.

Warm Welcome

As we returned to Rockwall, we were greeted by more family and friends (my stepdad, Mike; sister & her family, Tara, David, Hunter & Hannah; friends, Erika & Natalie)!!!! We feel loved - or at least we know our girls are loved :)

Erika - I don't know how I still don't have any pictures of you with the girls! Maybe this next visit!!!

Going home

Braxton was excited to push the cart out to the van...can you tell he was ready to go home?

He loves his new spot in the back of the van...it helped that Mawmaw sat next to him.

All loaded We had so much stuff that my in-laws drove from Killeen to Austin - loaded their car with our luggage and extras, then they followed us to Rockwall - to unload, and then they drove home to Killeen. Wow - what would we do without them?!?

I can't thank all of our visitors enough...I am sorry to say that I don't have pictures of everyone! I want to make sure you all know that your presence was appreciated. You all are very special to us and will forever be a part of our girls' lives.

Big Brother

Braxton had a good time while we were in the hospital. Mawmaw and Grandma took excellent care of him (put a few pounds on him). He visited us every day, and he always found a way to stay entertained...hospital equipment, loving on his sisters, watching movies and feeding his sisters. I couldn't ask for a better transition...He is amazing.

Braxton celebrated his second birthday and his last as our only child. We were in Austin awaiting the arrival of his twin sisters the following day. We were also enjoying our time with our little man. He had lots of family there and received TOO many gifts. We went to the park to play, out to dinner and back to the hotel for cake. Thanks to all of you for making this day about Braxton!

My sweet, beautiful, loving, kind, playful, intelligent and funny baby has now become a little boy. He is still precious as ever and is maturing and growing by leaps and bounds. He continues to amaze me and not a day goes by that I don't thank God for his priceless soul. Wow, God entrusts his life with me! That in itself is awesome. I pray (all the time) for the Lord's strength, patience, wisdom and plan.

Braxton, you are one of a kind. I am excited about what the future holds...I know you will be a gentleman, a good student, an athlete, a wonderful husband and a super dad. But, for now, I will cherish each minute with my 'baby' and each hug and kiss you allow. I love you more than words.
