FYI, this is my favorite holiday! For most people it seems Christmas is the top choice, which I must agree is a fantastic celebration. Easter is my favorite not only because of the wonderful weather, special times with family, gorgeous colors, and new 'spring-time' life....but because of the new life Jesus gives to all those that believe!
Easter represents the suffering, death and RESURRECTION of my Savior. HE LIVES! What could possibly be a better celebration than the new life of our Lord? Christmas is wonderful - Christ was born. But Easter is when He overcomes sin and death, which is the only way we are saved!
"...and by His wounds we are healed" Isaiah 53:5
