vacation

well, this is about as close as we've gotten to a vacation these days.

as you are well aware, our life is busy with little tots. it's also difficult to find friends and family to watch these crazies for an extended period of time and for david to take off for an extended period of time. so, we are starting small.

grandma chaplin kindly agreed to keep them while david and i enjoyed time with friends floating the san marcos river. (that will be another post when the water camera film is developed.) since grandpa chaplin had to work that saturday, grandma was able to recruit some help from joe and brenda. they were thrilled to spend some quality time with my kids - finally!!! joe was afraid he would not see the girls until high school graduation...close!

sunday morning we played outside

and inside and outside again monday was america's birthday! GOD bless the USA to the park

the park was TOO hot, so we came home, stripped down and got in the kiddie poolexhausted!

it was a fabulous vacation!
