of a stay at home mom to an almost 2 yr 10 month old boy and twin 10 month girls. originally i had the times at which these events occurred, but that was too much detail. i will tell you i woke at 430am and fell asleep on the couch at approximately 1030pm. here goes: (this was yesterday, just fyi) wake, jog 1 hour, cool down, walk hubby out, quick shower, rest, make bottles, feed babies, braxton wakes, take him to potty, get him milk, start a show on tv for him, play with/chase babies, put them in bouncers to make breakfast, feed babies finger foods, ayla coughs on cheerios and water then vomits, clean ayla, clean ayla's clothes, clean the highchair, feed babies fruit and oatmeal, play with/chase babies, put babies in bed for first nap, get braxton juice and banana, watch show with braxton while checking email, facebook, make breakfast for braxton, braxton eats while i clean the back patio: including sweeping, killing spiders, dusting furniture, cleaning a copper tub and picking up toys, braxton goes poop in potty, get him a prize, teach him how to use the prize (stamps), clean garage: sweep, scrub yucky grass clipping sweat with baking soda & detergent, put away recently used items, reorganize other items to make room for a new deep freeze all while braxton plays with new toy, babies wake, make bottles, play with babies in braxton's room/reading books, go check on braxton - he's outside in the front by himself trying to find puddles and checking the mail, move a baby proof door knob to front door, go back to babies, evie's pooped through diaper onto rug, clean rug, clean clothes, bathe and re diaper evie, play with/chase babies, make lunch, feed babies, put babies in bed for second nap, get braxton ready to nap when realize dog is missing, look for dog inside and out, go through back yard gate to front door where he is sitting...muddy, take dog inside and put him in kitchen sink, put braxton in bed for nap, bathe(shower) dog, go outside to repair hole by using heavy flagstone, replacing dirt and topping with sod, take down front drapes to wash, quick shower, lay down to rest 45 min - watch show, make bottles, feed babies, help friend over the phone, braxton wakes, play with/chase babies, snack time, wash decorative pillow, rehang drapes, get pillow out of wash - oops - realize it was a down pillow, now run wash again with bleach to clean nasty wet feather smell from machine, set braxton up with a movie, drink and popcorn (yea), play with grumpy babies, make dinner for babies, feed babies, friend comes over to deliver deep freeze, help move more things in garage - it's HUGE!, feed babies bottles, feed braxton dinner, bathe all 3 kids, put babies in bed, braxton eats again, brush braxton's teeth, put him in bed, make food for me and david, play words with friends, watch my shows, go to bed! ***oops, i forgot the part where braxton pretends to be a dump truck and takes dirt from my house plant and dumps it in the floor by his sisters, and i have to move them quickly (so ayla won't eat it) and get the vacuum.***

love it! So glad you did this to record 'those were the days' and realize how God carried you through! Only by Him! Crazy how much strength He can give us mommies!
Okay, I'm worn out just reading it!! You go girl!!! Love you for all you do!!!
I like the part where Braxton walks out the front door and you put the baby proof knob on the front door...kids are so clever and we don't even know it sometime. Ayla and Evie got baths twice?? My kid is lucky to get one a day :0)
I have to agree with Grandma. It is exhausting just reading "a day in a life". I am so incredibly amazed by your patience and loving spirit. Love you, Semo!
