lately

so, i am trying to get caught up on this blogging 'thing'...yet i feel so overwhelmed with all that has been going on lately. i am SO behind. mainly i've been spending every free moment creating new things for my best friend, diana. she is pregnant with her first baby, little haley kate, and i hosted a shower for her on june 5th. of course i have photos of all that - i will post sometime. in the midst of making these things, i have sewn dresses/outfits/gifts for friends, family & for a silent auction fundraiser.

in addition to making things for her, david and i have been engulfed in making our house a home. we moved in when the babies were only a month old, so we feel now we have a little spare time. we have been seizing every opportunity to work like crazy both inside and outside! i will post pictures of our home, too - eventually. the kiddos are growing every second, so i spend a ton of time photographing them - just not blogging about it :) the girls are doing great with their solid foods (stage 2) and have started eating little finger foods, too. they both rock on hands and knees and will be crawling VERY soon. they have had two ear infections..boo!!! they are starting to babble more, they adore big brother, they love to bounce, and they are just too sweet. braxton is totally getting this potty training thing. of course he's been peeing in the potty for four months or so, but the pooping is finally catching on....not to mention, he is staying dry through the night!!!!! he will actually wake up and ask to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night :) he LOVES to play all day, he speaks years above his age, he eats like a grown man, and he is such a blessing. just last week my DEAR friend, renee, came to visit and brought her little boy, case. we had so much fun visiting and watching the kids play. i will post more on that later, too. (with pics of course) so, just as soon as i can get this all sorted, i will post more details on all the before mentioned activities!!! tata for now - i must go rest! :)
