beloved brother

each night braxton looks forward to his bedtime routine...eat dinner, take bath/shower, brush teeth, read books, and sing songs!

one particular evening, i was tutoring and david was about to read books with braxton.

evie started crying and would not settle until david held her. trying to multi-task, he took her into braxton's room while braxton read in his bed. he eventually put evie in the crib, too, and braxton was so excited to tell her about thomas & his friends.

when i finished tutoring, i saw the two of them and my heart melted. but i felt bad for ayla, who was sleeping in her crib and missing out on sibling bonding time. so, i went and got her and placed her in the bed, too. braxton was thrilled. he even said it was ok for them to lay on his thomas blanket!!!

God has truly blessed me. braxton is the best big brother...EVER. i pray that even through the hard times he continues to be this amazing example. i pray the girls have an extraordinary relationship with their beloved brother.
