sometimes i wish i could take photography classes and afford a really nice, which usually equates to really expensive, camera. but, i will just enjoy being a mother who stays home and uses her decent camera to capture really amazing children!!!! enjoy some of our most recent shoots. my subjects are fabulous. (some shots are SO blurry, but SO cute)

What's happening
I will try to video more later....in this episode:
Evie says and signs "all done". Evie waves & says "hi". Ayla says "hi". Evie waves bye. Ayla signs please. Both blow kisses.
Happy New Year
I let Braxton stay up until Daddy got home on New Years Eve. We played with Alphie and watched a movie. David made it home from work early this year! 9pm.
All of our children LOVE to be outdoors, and that's an understatement. So, as usual, we headed outside to wait for David to arrive. I warned Braxton that it was cold, but he insisted....that lasted about 1 minute before he returned indoors and wanted a jacket & slippers.
just playin'

Merry Christmas!
Our final celebration was an entire day of opening and enjoying gifts. Again, we were ALL spoiled to the extreme! It's been a while since I've said this, so I will say it again.
I am so grateful for the family that I am married into. They are kind, funny, generous, supportive, loving, gracious and MINE. (of course there have been, are and will be rough patches - but they are FEW and far between - this family is putting up with me none the less.)
I love you all very much and can't tell you just how much you are appreciated!!!! You have been a wonderful blessing to me. Thank you for my husband and all of the qualities you instilled in him. He is an excellent husband and father, provider and lover.(get your minds out of the gutter)
Jesus' birthday!

Christmas Eve
Today we celebrated Christmas with my dad, stepmom, and sisters. My Granny was in town, too, so my uncle ken and granny were able to come over as well. Fortunately, they live in Garland so we had a short drive...which means more time to visit. My stepmom planned a scavenger hunt for the older kids - Braxton's first time to participate. It was fun. He was shocked that as he arrived to each new destination that there was a gift waiting for him! (I told you - sweet)
We all went in on a gift for the folks. First we had them open an hdmi cable - they looked a little confused (just like i had hoped).
then my brother in -love brought in their REAL gift! Yea - shock & awe.
Christmas on the 23rd! (Christmas Evie)
We were ALL spoiled - and this was just the beginning! Two more Christmas celebrations to go.
